Mornings are rough

For any of you with depression and/or anxiety, do you notice that you feel worse in the morning? It’s called diurnal variation. Literally. It’s in the DSM.

So perhaps it will comfort and/or provide validation to know it’s a common symptom, and you can remind yourself of this when it’s happening. And maybe avoid that feeling, when you wake up and for hours after, that everything might be completely and hopelessly fucked,

I just woke up. Everything is fucked.
